Children's Medical Services (CMS) provides a family-centered and coordinated system of care for children with special health care needs. Its network links community-based health care services with university-based medical specialty programs, as well as provides prevention and intervention services. The program also provides primary, medical, specialty and long-term care services for minors. It specializes in treating patients with chronic physical, developmental, behavioral and emotional conditions. The Children's Medical Services is administered by the Florida Department of Health is a Title V agency. It serves children under the age of 21 with special health care needs. The program maintains a location in Jacksonville, Fla.
