Marine Rebuild Specialists, Inc ( MRS ) is a Seminole, Florida, based remanufacturer of power heads, gearcases and sterndrive units for the marine industry. The Company was founded in 1999 in order to address a void in the marine power arena, the delivery of high caliber remanufactured power products coupled with a customer service program of unyielding standards for customer satisfaction. The Company's efforts were and have remained focused on servicing the needs of the marine industry. The Company began in 1999 as a small, two-man operation. The founders, both seasoned specialists in the marine power business with over 30 years of combined experience, grew the business from a single main tenant, Quality is Our #1 Priority . Sales grew and the Company began to add personnel within the first year of operations. In 2002, the Company outgrew its original 2500 sq. ft. facility and moved into a 6000 sq ft. site. In 2004, continued growth and expansion into additional product lines led the Company to move again, this time into their current 25, 000 sq ft. plant in Seminole, Florida. Our main facility houses sales, customer service, technology, production and shipping. Our priming/painting functions are housed in a separate offsite local facility to insure that our clean rooms and prep areas are not contaminated with airborne paint residuals. In addition to its repair and remanufacturing operations, the current facility provides key warehousing of power heads, gearcases and sterndrive units along with a complete parts and core inventory. The site is equipped with semi-trailer docks for shipping and receiving. MRS has continued to maintain a strong reputation for excellence in the quality of its product line along with the best customer service program in the industry. Throughout the current economic downturn, the company has continued its growth. MRS products are widely distributed throughout all 50 states as well as internationally to both Europe and the Caribbean. Our strategic focus is to enhance the relationship of the marine dealer and their client, the boating consumer, through the consistent provisioning of accurate product need identification and highly reliable product fulfillment in a timely manner, minimizing boater downtime both during and after the repair cycle. In order to accomplish this objective, the sales staff of MRS is technically trained to accurately identify the correct product for product requests and to assist the customer with product identification, ancillary hardware requirements and correct installation, break-in and maintenance procedures. Working with our customers in this way insures that they have the correct product, tools and know-how for a successful installation. It is in this level of collaborative assistance, coupled with our quality product requirements that MRS differentiates itself within the industry.
