Flanigan s Enterprises sells approximately 1 million pounds of ribs each year. During the 1970s, the name was synonymous with a chain of nightclubs located in seven states. Flanigan s has since evolved into a group of casual restaurants in southern Florida. The restaurants feature flame-broiled and hickory-smoked baby back ribs. Its kitchens also serve burgers, fresh tuna, steaks, wings, clams, shrimp, pasta dishes and large salads. The walls of every Flanigan s location are adorned with nautical artifacts and photographs. Flanigan s was established in 1959 and is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
