HistoryI am a Registered Nurse with over 20 years experience. I hold a Master of Business Administration Degree with a Minor in Marketing, and a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Registered Nursing. I am a Certified Business Consultant, Healthcare Risk Manager, and Assisted Living Administrator. Owning my own senior care business model within the healthcare industry was my dream. I, like so many of my fellow colleagues started a healthcare business with the misconception that our nursing skills or our personal care skills would lead the way to successful business ownership in this industry. Were we ever so wrong! Starting, operating, and growing a healthcare business is two-fold, there is an integration of business strategy, business planning, and business management, that is merged with nursing care to successfully operate a senior care business.
