Throughout the year Weeks also conducts sales for others at their locations. The number of auctions varies from year to year, but on average we conduct 20 large auctions a year. These auctions have included the purchase of The Jacksonville Shipyards fixed assets ( brochure enclosed ) and the auction of these items. This particular auction consisted of over 4000 items sold in 4 consecutive days. Personnel needed for this auction consisted of over 70 employees. The setup and auction was completed on schedule as was the removal of purchases by the buyers.
