Specialties
The heart of our classes are gently heated and taught in the Bishnu Ghosh and Bikram Choudhury tradition of Hatha Yoga. This lineage of Hatha Yoga utilizes asana (postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises) to strengthen the entire body from the fingertips to the toes, internal organs, and nervous systems. This practice differs from many other styles of modern yoga by its focus on stillness within and directly following the postures. The therapeutic benefits of hot yoga brings balance and control to the body and stillness to mind. Our classes are designed to progress with you and your practice. All classes are suitable for everyone from first-timers to long time practitioners. The only requirement is a strong desire to learn.
