Deluxe started as CKF Laundry Services when Chris Funk was a student at Flagler College. He and his father, Carter, bought a coin laundry in St. Augustine. The business grew and in 2003 they built a dry cleaning plant. They filled a need for quality cleaning and friendly service and quickly outgrew the initial plant so they expanded to Jacksonville. In 2005 they bought Deluxe Cleaners and kept that name and the friendly neighborhood store attitude that made them special. Father and son are still partners in what has grown into one of the areas largest and best dry cleaner and laundry.
