Riverside House
Located in Miami, Riverside House is a nonprofit, faith-based, residential, reentry facility that has been operational for more than 30 years. It provides counseling, life skills training, vocational and pastoral care services to ex-offenders in the country. The facility can accommodate up to 120 men and women. Riverside House features administrative offices, group classrooms and training rooms. It also provides recreational, dining, laundry and chapel services. The organization works with various churches and community agencies to provide spiritual and social guidance to individuals who are imprisoned in mind and spirit. Its pastoral care program partners with faith- and community-based organizations to provide support and education to fight against community deterioration, juvenile delinquency and crime. Riverside House offers several support services, including GED preparation, individual and group counseling, job search and placement and substance abuse counseling services.
