Established in 1957, Leisure City K-8 Center is a learning center that provides educational services to more than 1,300 students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school conducts classes in various subjects, such as reading, writing, math, science, civics, economics and history. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities that includes music, visual arts, and technical and physical education. Leisure City K-8 Center also offers accelerated reader and English for Speakers of Other Languages programs. In addition, the school provides special education to gifted and talented students.
