Clearwater High, a public school, is one of the oldest schools in Pinellas County. It offers honors, advanced placement and SPC dual enrollment courses in addition to a standard curriculum.
Clearwater's OCIP program offers an alternative to students who would be on suspension. With this program they stay in school and receive instruction from a teacher as well as group counseling with a social worker.
The school's CAICC program students to prepare themselves for work in the international business community.
Clearwater High offers many extracurriculars: cheerleading, cross country, golf, swimming, volleyball, basketball, soccer, flag football, softball, tennis and track; and academic team, art club, band, chess club, computer club, dance team, drama club, drumline, ecology club, English Academic Society, Fathoms literary magazine, French Club, Future Business Leaders of America and Spanish Honor Society, among many others.
