History
The Cape Mini Storage facility is family owned and operated by the Coffmans who moved to Southwest Florida from the mid-west in 1974. The family's first business endeavor was the Cape Car Wash, built and operated at the corner of SE 46th Lane and Del Prado Boulevard in Cape Coral. The Coffman family eventually sold the car wash and it is now the location of a commercial building. With the rapid growth of Cape Coral the Coffman family saw the need for more self storage than was available to the public and residents of southwest Florida. The family purchased the land for the storage facility in a prime location in central Cape Coral in the Cape Coral Industrial Park. The Cape Mini Storage facility was built in two phases. Originally, there were only two buildings (A and B) and the remainder of the land on the site was used for outdoor storage for recreational vehicles, boats and cars. This location is east of Country Club Blvd and just south of Viscaya Parkway (at the corner of SE 12th Ave and 9th Terrace). Cape Mini Storage features convenient 24/7 drive up access for all units, excellent security lighting, and a clean well maintained facility. No need to bring your own lock as we supply a high security lock that acts as a deadbolt in the door. Our buildings are all concrete construction (including roofs) with slightly raised floors to give maximum protection for your stored items.
