With 13 distribution centers that serve more than 5 million people, Buffalo Rock Company is the United States largest family-owned Pepsi-Cola bottler. The Panama City, Fla., facility, which employs approximately 100 people, distributes beverages and snacks to seven counties in the Florida Panhandle. It also maintains a full-service vending operation. Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Dr Pepper, 7Up, Sunkist, Canada Dry, Tropicana, SoBe, Buffalo Rock Ginger Ale, Cadbury Schweppes and Sunny Delight are among the beverages distributed by Buffalo Rock Company. The organization distributes beverage and food products to clients throughout Alabama, northwestern Florida and eastern Georgia. Other distribution products include Hershey, Nestle, Wrigley, Nabisco, Frito-Lay, Dole, Little Debbie and Kellogg foods. Buffalo Rock was founded in the late 1890s and is headquartered in Birmingham, Ala. The company has received awards from the Paperboard Packaging Council, United Way and U.S. Department of Labor.
