Summit Christian School, established in 1972, is a private, nondenominational, nonprofit Christian school providing traditional education to children in preschool through grade 12. Formerly known as the New Hope Christian Academy, it offers classes in English, science, language arts, math, French, Spanish, German, computer, fine arts, American and world history, Christian psychology and weight training. Its curriculum also comprises Bible-based moral training. The school has athletic teams in several sports, including baseball, basketball, bowling, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, hockey, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball and track and field. Summit Christian School is spread in an area of more than 25 acres and is located in West Palm Beach, Fla. The school is approved by the American Association of Christian Schools and the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools. It is also a member of the National Council for Private School Accreditation and Florida High School Athletic Association.
