Located in Green Cove Springs, Fla., Challenge Enterprises provides program opportunities to people with a wide variety of physical and mental disabilities. Challenge Enterprises professionals and volunteers provide educational, prevocational, residential, job training, and other support programs. These programs are designed to prepare persons with disabilities for successful community inclusion. The organization s employees perform various services, such a sorting recyclables, entering data into computers, planting trees, affixing labels, cutting grass, stocking shelves, performing custodial services, and serving as training aides to instructors. It also offers various recreational programs to such persons, including participating in special Olympic county games, watching plays at the Alhambra dinner theatre, shopping at the local stores in Orange Park, eating at local restaurants in Orange Park, having lunch at Spring Park in Green Cove Springs, Christmas parties, and trips to Green Cove Springs' library.
