The VFW provides the veterans in the area as well as their spouses a place to congregate amongst fellow comrades who have shared either the same or similar experiences. There are featured events throughout the week, as well as lunch for six out of seven days. Inside, as you first enter the cafeteria/lounge area, visitors can see the addition of a bar up front and center that many regulars like to make use of. Around the back of the main building is a covered, outdoor eating area that has picnic benches set up that would accommodate a good-sized crowd.
