Founded in 1979, ALPHA House of Pinellas County provides a range of housing and support services for homeless pregnant women and teenagers. It helps new mothers with infants and families with crisis pregnancies. The facility has served more than 3,000 women, teenagers and infants. It also offers several outreach services. The facility is accredited by the Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas County. ALPHA House of Pinellas County provides case management, therapeutic counseling and medical care services. Additionally, the facility offers education on childbirth, parenting and life skills, child development, stress management, nutrition and substance abuse prevention. ALPHA House of Pinellas County is located in St. Petersburg, Fla.
