Ames Construction, Inc. began operations in 1960 in Burnsville, Minn., and has become one of our nation s largest heavy civil and industrial design-build general contractors. Ames is experienced in the construction of airports, bridges, highways, railroad lines, mining, power plants, water treatment plants, dams, commercial sites and golf courses. It is also experienced in flood control, environmental site remediation, reclamation and landfill work, and has worked on some of our nation s largest infrastructure projects.
