HistoryOne To One Fitness, Inc. has been a pioneer in the personal training industry since 1987 when we opened the first facility in the Washington, DC area designed exclusively for one- on-one personal training. Since our opening 25 years ago, our mission has been simple: to be the best place for great trainers to work and the best place for clients to receive great personal training. One To One hires only highly-personable, well-educated and experienced fitness professionals who want to make a full time career helping clients achieve their fitness goals. We then provide our newly hired trainers with the most thorough staff development curriculum in our industry and help them become great trainers who can maintain One To One's standard of excellence.SpecialtiesAt One To One we know that every single client is a unique individual. We work with busy executives, retired seniors, clients with special medical conditions, elite athletes, recreational athletes, complete non-athletes, clients who are extremely fit and participate in a wide variety of activities, clients who have never exercised before, and many others. Our first step is simply to sit down with you to get to know you - your goals, past experience if any, any medical considerations, your availability and scheduling needs, and your level of motivation. We do all of this with you before you even decide if you would like to become a One To One client. The next step is to take you through a few sample One To One personal training sessions. These trial sessions will give you an opportunity to experience One To One personal training, and will give us the opportunity to assess your current fitness level, posture, movement capacity, strength, and endurance, and to show you what we recommend.
