History
SwimWOD was founded by us, a family of swimmers: Sean Emery (me), my older sister Erin Losie, and my younger sister Meg Emery. We're all former collegiate swimmers, who love distill the lessons learned at top level swimming clubs to tangible and accessible lessons that everyone can use to improve their swimming. We've all been involved with swimming, swim coaching, and swim lessons in one way or another for well over 3 decades. Now we're taking this experience and applying it directly to the fitness community we love the most: Swimmers! I believe, and Erin and Meg agree, that the opportunity for the potential for gains in swimming have never been greater than they are today, but ONLY if you start to blend the traditional (tried and true) foundations of swimming technique with the proven, intense, sprint style workouts we do at SwimWOD. This is what we're here to teach you. This is our mission.
