US Agency For International Development
The U.S. Agency for International Development, established in 1961, is a human services organization that offers a range of medical care, educational, and economic and social development assistance services. It is an independent federal government agency that provides assistance to disadvantaged individuals throughout the world. The organization works to eradicate various problematic issues, such as rapid population growth, terrorism, and HIV and AIDS. It also offers a variety of resources in the areas of agriculture, trade, education, health care, economic growth, conflict prevention and democracy in more than 100 countries globally. The U.S. Agency for International Development serves individuals throughout Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.
