Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center, founded in 1984, is a referral hospital primarily serving horses. Located in Leesburg, Va., it is one of the three campuses comprising the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
