Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE) is a diverse and nonpartisan network of equity-minded leaders in Washington, DC. They guide their members in their civic leadership journey, providing coaching, connections, and skill-building opportunities to increase equity in communities, particularly for individuals who identify as people of color, women, and LGBTQIA.
With a membership of over 50,000 equity leaders, LEE supports career growth in policy, advocacy, and organizing, while also encouraging members to take action and run for office. Their network includes 1,600 members in senior positions, 850 members who have served in elected office, and they strive to build a diverse and enduring movement of leaders committed to ending the injustice of inequity.
