Georgetown Presbyterian Church is the oldest church with a continuous ministry in the District. Today, the church sits on P Street in a largely residential area. The building previously sat on M Street and was moved in the late 1800s; President Grant laid the corner stone.
The church community is made up of members from throughout the D.C. area. Georgetown Presbyterian offers various social events throughout the year, including summer punch on the patio after Sunday services, a fall picnic and even a Halloween Tea.
