The Far Southeast Family Strengthening Collaborative, established in 1996, is an independent, nonprofit organization that works to enhance the stabilization, empowerment and personal development of children and families. The organization provides crisis intervention, advocacy, and case and budget management services. It also offers housing, employment and family planning assistance programs. The Far Southeast Family Strengthening Collaborative manages family and community services divisions. The organization s Second Responders Project provides in-home family assessment and information referral services. In addition, it manages family support centers through serve people in the Southeast. The organization s 'Milestones' Supervised Visitation Program features transportation and meal planning solutions.
