Best Kids Mentoring Program
BEST Kids Mentoring Program is a Washington, DC-based organization that believes in the inherent talent of all children. Through one-on-one volunteer mentoring, extensive training, and experiential learning-based Peer Groups, they empower youth to discover and develop their unique skills and abilities, fostering a positive sense of self and promoting teamwork and social skills. Their mission is to enable children as young as six to become productive members of society. Committed to engagement, equity, and excellence, BEST Kids is dedicated to improving outcomes for youth in foster care and at-risk youth in the Washington, DC area. They are a proud supporter of Learn24, a network of out-of-school-time opportunities, and stand in solidarity with the Black community, actively working towards addressing systemic racism and inequality.
