Corcoran Arts Continuing Education has serviced the metropolitan community for over 100 years as the first and only Art School in Washington, D.C. Continuing Education has allowed those who are interested in the art to participate in exploring the visual arts by taking individual courses that fit their interest.
Specialties
Non-degree students of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in classes in ceramics, design, drawing, interior design, painting, photography, sculpture, woodworking and more. Corcoran Continuing Education courses allow students to brush up on basics, develop further expertise or just have fun. Afternoon, evening and weekend classes are available to work around your schedule. Courses are taught by leading professionals in their fields, and are available during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
