Association of Schools of Public Health is a national organization representing faculty and students of accredited member schools of public health and other programs that require accreditation as schools of public health. The association, based in Washington, D.C., is governed by its members and a board of directors. Established in 1953, the association manages a variety of functions, such as increasing academic public health programs, and working with several agencies of federal government on projects related to public health education and profession.
