Terry is a blind individual who started the business with the help of "Services For The Blind" and the first piece of equipment was purchased and placed in the home office June 1st 1993. Today CDS leases over 2500 square feet of office space located at 167-A Haywood Road in West Asheville, NC. It has, since the beginning, been a self supportive and prosperous small business..CDS has always produced high quality products by using the best professional equipment for the job at hand. We have seen many changes in our industry over the years ; i.e. vinyl albums disappeared, audio cassettes replaced by CD's and VHS videos replaced by DVD's but Cassette Duplication Services can still provide you with duplication or transferring any of these formats to a format of your choice. CDS has been successful mainly because of these unique services it offers.Because of our high performance and low prices, our customer base has become a melting pot of song artists, churches, schools, politicians, professionals, historians and many others. We have been recognized as a reliable source of excellent quality duplication by 2 of the largest companies in this field, Sonopress and Cassette Production Unlimited, both located in the Asheville area. These companies handle only very large orders so they both send their smaller orders to us to fulfill.CDS also has a recording studio especially equipped for voice projects, editing and mastering. We also have access to a larger studio for our group projects.
