Lisa Maxwell, M.D. is a native of New Jersey where she earned her undergraduate degree in chemistry and molecular biology at Rutgers University. She completed her medical education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Piscataway campus. She went on to the Crozer Keystone family practice residency program to complete her residency in 2005. She completed a fellowship in faculty development at Christiana Care in which she focused on taking care of the needs of an underserved population within and around Wilmington. She helps to educate medical students, with particular interest in running a student-run clinic at the Wilmington Hospital Health Center.
