Clean Earth of New Castle operates a thermal treatment facility in Delaware. It has a more than 7-acre facility that consists of contaminated material storage buildings, a high-temperate thermal processing unit and on-site laboratory. Clean Earth of New Castle also operates a processing plant that runs nonstop and is comprised of a rotary dryer for desorption of contaminates from the soil. The plant routinely handles soil contaminated with gasoline and alcohol to waste oils and coal tar residuals. Clean Earth of New Castle is a part of Clean Earth, which provides a range of solutions for various environmental issues. The parent company has soil and waste treatment facilities in New Jersey, Maryland, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. It processes more than 400,000 tons of petroleum contaminated soil per year. Clean Earth provides a range of services that include s thermal desorption, bioremediation and dredge processing.
