Founded in 1979, Winsted Area Child Care Center Inc. is a private, non-profit corporation. Based in Winsted, Conn., it offers an array of programs, such as infant and toddler program, preschool and before and after school education. Infant and toddler program caters to the delicate needs of its youngest children. Toddler one is a classroom with eight children ages 12-24 months. Preschool includes four classrooms separated by age group whereas before and after school education provides educational environment for children in kindergarten to 5th grade.
