Waterford Beach Park is the largest town-owned park in Waterford, complete with tennis and volleyball courts, several pavilions with grills, a beach, canoe launch, playground and a summer concert area. Dogs are not allowed on the grounds from June 16th to Labor Day. The Eugene O'Neil Theater and Harkness Park are on either side of the park, off Great Neck Road. Pavilions can be reserved through the Waterford Parks and Recreation Department. During the summer, there is a charge to use the beach, with Waterford residents receiving a discount. Admission is free from Labor Day to the spring.
