Turn of River Middle School
Turn of River Middle School was established in 1963 and is located in Stamford, Conn. The school houses more than 700 students in grades six through eight and is operated by the Stamford Public Schools District. It has a parent-teacher organization that provides support and assistance to school by organizing various fundraising events and activities, as well as provides scholarships to students. The school s curriculum offers various subjects, such as reading, writing, foreign language, math, science, social studies, language art, applied science, music, health and physical education. It provides various clubs and activities to students, including Spanish club, knit and chat, young mariners, young girls in science, cardio kick boxing, show chorus, cheerleading, band and yearbook.
