United Recycling is the recycling division of Connecticut Waste Transfer and is located on Oliver Terrace. United recycles everyday paper, plastic and glass materials from households all over Shelton as well as other materials including asphalt, concrete, hangers, cardboard, metal, wood and electronic materials. United Recycling opens its visitor's center six days a week, so be sure to visit to learn all about recycling and United's part in keeping the environment healthy.
