United Congregational Church is a welcoming community, bringing together city and suburb to worship God, develop our faith, and serve our neighbors near and far through social outreach. United Congregational Church worships together ( adults and children ) on Sunday mornings. For the summer, from June 30 until September 5, we will have one worship service in the lovely and air-conditioned Howland Chapel at 9: 30 am. This service is followed by Hospitality Hour in Pilgrim Hall at 10: 45 am. Worship services at United include great music by our choir soloists, Chancel and Norma Pfriem Children's Choir, and a lively and thought-provoking sermon by our Senior Minister, Rev. Sara D. Smith. Christian Education Kick Off Breakfast at 8: 45 for parents, students and PF groups All 8th and 9th graders are encouraged to take part in this important step in their faith journeys. Parents & Confirmands mandatory information meeting Sunday, September 26, 11: 30 am. Classes begin, Monday, September 27 4: 30-6: 30 pm each week for 2 hours, lead by Rev. Sara and assisted by Carrie Watson and Kim Smith.
