Union Kitchen was nominated for Restaurant of the Year: Hartford County by the Connecticut Restaurant Association in 2023. In a space that formerly housed a speakeasy, the ambitious restaurant combines New American cuisine with a world class beverage program. FOOD Union Kitchen serves seasonal American cooking from Chef Tim East. In addition to the a la carte menu, the restaurant offers a 3 course and 5-course tasting menus with optional wine pairings. BEVERAGE Led by general manager & sommelier Vish Badami, Union Kitchen was voted best wine list in Connecticut by CT Magazine 2023 and is the recipient of Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence for 2022 & 2023. The restaurant has over 450 spirits including the state's largest collection of amari. Cocktails are crafted by bar manager MeKayla Roy.
