The SmartLiving Center is part science museum, part hands-on activity center for children and part home-improvement showroom for adults. The SmartLiving Center features educational seminars, special events and tours, all geared toward teaching Connecticut residents that they can use energy wisely while keeping an eye on the environment and not sacrificing comfort or style. This service is offered by United Illuminating and is the only center in the state of Connecticut. It is free and open to the public.
