The barre method is a group fitness class that incorporates elements of yoga and pilates at the mat or ballet barre. Contrary to popular belief, no dance experience is required! This low impact workout is perfect for all fitness levels with many modifications offered throughout class. Exercises consist of small, intricate repetitions for few sets. Enter the shake zone! Fatiguing the muscles during these small exercises will allow the muscle to sculpt and build endurance. Every class finishes in shavasana that is lead by meditating music and ends through a gentle stretch to help your body recover. What makes The Barre CT different than other studios? Every class is different! If this is your first or tenth class, you can always expect the same format but different exercises. Skip the gym, meet me at the barre!
