Go Green Fitness, located on Boston Post Road, is not your traditional fitness center. True to its moniker, Go Green features a room with 24 exercise bikes where participants pedal during spin classes and generate electricity that is used to power the building. A device on the bikes tracks how many watts of electricity are generated during each workout; these workouts generate most of the power needed by the entire building. As it grows, Go Green will produce more energy than needed by the building and the excess will go to the regional power grid. Call for more info or for class times.
