The name Strada 18 comes from the "pizza road," a highway that starts south of Naples (the pizza capital) and ends at the tip of the Italian boot. This is an attractive upscale restaurant serving a wide range of Italian dishes, including a number of Italian "comfort foods," such as baked pastas and pizzas. For those wanting lighter fare, panini and focaccia sandwiches are served all day.
At lunch, a mouthwatering assortment of piadinas, Italian flatbread sandwiches, is served, including grilled leg of lamb, roast breast of chicken and even an Italian spin on BLT.
