A recent survey by the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association (SGMA) observes that the popularity of billiards, as a sport, has been steady since 2000. Yale Billiards has been around longer to grow its fan-base. It's been at its Yale Plaza, Yale Avenue location, for over 15 years. Part of the fun are the leagues. There's the Monday 8-Ball League, and Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday night APA leagues. Many players are drawn to the Thursday and Saturday night discounts and specials. Corporate outings and birthday parties are also hosted here. A bar and lounge are in the front, as you enter the building, with the billiards tables in the next room to the back.
