Lewis W. Scranton Antiques is located in one of the eight original one-room schoolhouses found in town (as far as Mr. Scranton knows, this schoolhouse is the best).
Early American furniture and accessories, particularly with old paint or an old surface and from New England, are Scranton's loves. He has been avid collector of redware and slipware for 55 years. Lewis W. Scranton Antiques specializes in American painted tin as well. He sells "old-fashioned things the old-fashioned way."
It's open by appointment and found at antiques shows in the region.
