Saint Ann's Episcopal Church was established in 1883 as an Episcopal mission in the Black Hall section of Old Lyme. The church is located along scenic Shore Road on the outskirts of Old Lyme.
The congregation of Saint Ann’s moved out of the little mission house at the corner of Mile Creek Road and Route 156 into its present location in 1956. At that time, a Nearly New Shop was opened in the little mission house to provide funds for the church and to contribute to community and national missions.
