Sacred Heart Academy is a Roman Catholic institution that provides educational and career development programs to students. It offers services to more than 400 students in grades kindergarten through 12. The school is located in Hamden, Conn. It is a more than 120-acre campus with over 20 classrooms, science laboratories, a chapel, and media production and multimedia language learning centers. It also has music and art rooms, gymnasium and auditorium with more than 500 seats, a fitness center, lecture hall, playing fields and a full-service cafeteria that serves breakfast and lunch. The school provides a comprehensive educational curriculum with special activities and programs in academic and extracurricular areas. Its curriculum includes English, math, science and social studies. The school also offers practical classes in reading and writing.
