Established in 1945, Council of Churches of Greater Bridgeport offers various public service programs in partnership with area congregations, community groups, local foundations and individuals. Its Project Learn challenges more than 200 children to learn through after school programs in various neighborhoods in Bridgeport, Conn. The council s Janus House Center for Youth in Crisis provides intervention and counseling for youth and families in Bridgeport.
