Established in 1974, Project M.O.R.E. is a nonprofit organization that assists ex-offenders with re-entry into their community. Its official name is Project Model Offenders Reintegration Experience. Project M.O.R.E. operates several programs, such as the Walter Brooks Halfway House, Project Green Transitional House, The Virginia Wells Transitional House, Building Bridges Program and Dutchess County Residential House. For over 30 years, it has been contracted by the Connecticut Department of Correction and the Court Support Services Division of the State Judicial System to provide services to their clients in Connecticut.
