Pine Orchard Nursery School (PONS) has one teacher for every six children. The school is licensed by the state and teachers are members of National, Connecticut and Shoreline Associations For the Education of Young Children.
This nonprofit, independent, parent cooperative preschool is known as the "little red school house" in the Indian Neck area of Branford.
