The Oxford Public Library is located on the first floor of the Stephen B. Church Memorial Town Hall in the center of the community. The quaint library has adult and children's book selections, as well as a children's department where several programs geared toward youth are held on a regular basis. Anyone with a Connecticut library card can check out books at the library. The Oxford community is in the midst of discussing whether to build a new library, and a library building committee has been formed to explore options.
