Known as "a place of deliverance, praise and worship where God alone is in command," Greater Works Community Church of God serves the south end of the city with not only a place to worship every Sunday, but also a place in which to serve God through various ministries. Led by Bishop Ashley Powell, Greater Works offers its members the chance to get involved, whether it is through joining the choir or praise dance team or becoming a group or council leader. The Youth Ministry allows the church's young members to express their talent via a teen talent contest, and young men are exposed to music through the Boys Choir.
