The Oswegatchie Fire Company is one of five fire companies in Waterford. A full-time, paid firefighters mans the firehouse from 7am to 11pm every weekday, with part-time paid firefighters filling in at various times on the weekend. At all other times volunteers on-call will respond to any call. The fire department always accepts volunteers, and anybody interested should call the department.
